Bernhard Schachenhofer, Dipl. Ing.

Bernhard Schachenhofer was born on 11^th October 1971 in Vienna. After finishing the higher technical college for wood technology in Kuchl – Salzburg he studied wood science on the University of Bodenkultur in Vienna. Already during his university studies he worked on the field of wood preservation and wood pest eradication. 1999 he graduated successfully to an technical engineer and started working in the wood industry.

2001 he founded the Haböck & Weinzierl Holz- und Bautenschutz KG in Salzburg and started working on the fields of wood preservation and dry rot eradication as well as moisture protection on buildings. 2004 Bernhard Schachenhofer founded Thermo Lignum® Austria. Since this time he has specialised on the field of thermal pest eradication and has focused his works on. warm-air treatments of sensitive objects and historical buildings.
